Real Pool 3D's gameplay is practically the same as any other billiards game: it follows the rules of the original game, so your role is limited to adjusting the angle and strength of the shot to get the best possible carom. Real Pool 3D gives you the option to play alone against the advanced artificial intelligence or against players from all over the world in a comprehensive online mode.
For each victory, Real Pool 3D rewards you with coins that you can invest in new skins for the tables or, more interestingly, new cues, each one better than the last. This is where the arcade aspect of the title comes into play, since these cues offer greater strength or better precision when calculating the final position of each ball involved in the shot. Of course, if you're not interested in playing with these elements, you can deactivate them at any time from the options menu.
Visually speaking, Real Pool 3D is impressive. It not only manages to offer totally realistic physics but also, for the most outstanding moves of the game, it will delight you with slow motion replays using angles reminiscent of bullet time from 'Sniper Elite,' which is as impressive as it is satisfying.
